vLuWa, Virtual Luftwaffe, is the Virtual German Air Force, a DCS World squadron focused on military realism, tactical training, and cooperative gameplay, inspired by real-world German Luftwaffe squadrons and their procedures.
The virtual Luftwaffe is designed to replicate the real German Air Force procedures. We are also in contact with subject-matter experts, both pilots and air traffic controllers, who are willing to keep vLuWa standards high.
Prior experience is not required but appreciated. All pilots will go through basic training to adapt to German Air Force procedures.
vLuWa is about replicating the German Air Force “as real as it gets” thus we only fly real aircraft flown by the Luftwaffe in the past, present, or the future, including:
We offer one-on-one or group training for pilots and controllers. Pilots will undergo through basic training to get familiar with military standard operating procedures. People wishing to learn about air traffic control or air battle management can also get training as an ATC or CRC Controller (similar to GCI with some adaptions).
